’A Wellington Approval for a fourth SIM lottery has been given by the Minister of Internal” Affairs (Mr Highet). It will go on sale on March 20 and be called the “Gold Strike.” “I decided to approve one at this stage because many people were disappointed that they could
not buy a ticket for Easter,” Mr Highet said yesterday. “The recent ‘Pot o’Gold’ half-million lottery predictably sold out almost immediately,” he said. The “Pot o’Gold” lottery would be drawn in Wellington on March 20, the same day the tickets will go on sale for the new lottery.
