Church and State
Sir, —As I scribble this note, my left arm is pushed further up my back. Yes, 1 too am under the dreaded influence of the Vatican Mafia. Those who understand need read no further — you know it all already. Just for fun, perhaps even for homework, try and find a word which
describes your “Church and State” editorial on Saturday. It had a peculiar historical odour about it. Would all M.P.s please stand up and tell us how you form your consciences? Is it by impartial secular information, or brainwashing religious indoctrination? Please note, all M.P.s, we did not vote you in to exercise your judgment —just do as we say. Now, who are “we”? Well, that is a tricky one, but don’t worry; suspend your judgment and do as we say. 1 look forward to “The Press” survey on why the other 33 M.P.s voted for the C. S. and A. Bill.—Yours, etc., D. E. TAPP. March 5, 1978.
