Mrs Mills dies
Mrs Mills, the 15-stcme; wizard of the honky-tonk, piano, 'has died at a, Buckinghamshire nursing, home. She was 55. She had, been ill for several months.' “Glad”, as she liked to be known, was spotted by a talent scout playing the, piano at a golf-club dance. Within days she was signed by a record company, and she became an overnight star at the age of 40. — London.
