We are particularly interested in someone who has a sound knowledge of both the commercial and field aspects of the industry. You will be based in Lower Hutt and your employers will be the Council Of the N.Z. Technical Correspondence Institute. THE JOB. Your knowledge of the Industry will be used to help prepare the specialised lesson material and to tutor students studying for the Stock and Station Industry Certificate. Subjects covered are farming, salesmanship and industry procedures. Ail students are employed by Stock firms. Yau will be working with an interesting and keen group of agricultural tutors in an Institute that is growing fast. The salary ranges up to $10,112 per year and the benefits include generous vacations, teachers’ superannuation, proportion of removal expenses and a period of tutor training to assist you to settle into your new occupation.
