ASSISTANT MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT-IN-CHI'EF/PLANNING: Vacancy No. 10/58 (A) This is a new position and the appointee will be directly responsible to the Superintendent-in-Chief for detailed planning of future buildings, working together with a project team under the general guidance of the Planning Officer. In these respects he will have responsibilities to the individual Hospital Superintendent during all stages Of planning. The position will be of interest to medical officers with a special interest in this aspect of medical development. To increase the scope of duties it is anticipated that the successful appointee will also have some general administrative duties on delegation, so that a wide experience in medical administration will be gained. Salary will be according to qualifications and experience and will be in accordance with the Hospital Service Determination applicable to Medical Officers on the scale for Specialists ($17,060 to $22,161) or Medical Officers-of Social Scale ($11,585 to $20,900). All rates are subject to a 3.5 per cent Special Interim Allowance and $365 Cost of Living Allowance.
