The Position The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of the Soft Drinks industry, both at the Corporation and in Bottling Plants throughout New Zealand. On completion of training, it is envisaged the trainee will be appointed as an Operations Manager, responsible for liaison with a group of Franchised Bottlers. Initially, the trainee will work at the Corporation's offices at East Tamaki, Auckland, until the end of 1978. During 1979 the trainee will work in various bottling plants throughout the country for periods up to four months at each location. Upon completion of training the appointee will be based in Auckland. Applicants for the position should be unmarried, as a considerable amount of time in the training period will be spent away from Auckland. Qualifications Age: 22 — 26 years Applicants should preferably possess a degree in business or another discipline or have nearly completed their tertiary education. However, the Corporation is flexible about basic characteristics of the trainee and seeks qualities rather than necessary qualifications or age.
