G. Court had bad half-year
George Court and Sons, Limited, reports that in the half-year to January 19 sales rose marginally to $4.6M, but gross profit fell 32.7 per cent and net profit at $16,754 fell 86.0 per cent (Compared with $119,891 for the first half of last year. The directors forecast a considerable improvement in the current six months. An interim dividend of 5 per cent (5c a share) will be paid on April 14, ex dividend April 4. i
