The tuna season is at its peak and pressure on the fishermen’s wharf and the lagoon wharf berthages at Greymouth was such that some boats, including these in the photograph, had to find berths at the main wharf. The Greymouth Harbour Board will provide more lagoon berths to relieve the pressure. On one day recently more than 100 fishing vessels were in port.
