Bad racist attack
NZPA-Reuter Nashville
A white professor trying to force cancellation of a Davis Cup tennis match in Nashville between South Africa and United States had the word “nigger” cut into his stomach by two masked attackers. Richard Lapchick, aged 32, was attacked in his office and beaten with a wooden statue. The word was cut into his stomach with a pair of scissors. His wife said that the white attackers called him a “nigger lover” during the assault.
