Four men arrested after fight

Four men were arrested late last evening after a fight which had started in the public bar of Warner’s Tavern broke out again on the street outside. Two of the men were arrested for fighting, one for assisting an escape, and the other for obstructing the police. A police spokesman said that the fight started between two men about 9.30 p.m. in the bar. It had broken up before the police arrived. The fight started again on (the street and police arrested the two men. Another man then let one of the arrested I men out of a police car but I was arrested himself.

The spokesman said that two police cars and a dog were sent to the scene but the dog was not needed.
