MARKET RALLY CONTINUES
The rally on the New Zealand sharemarket continued yesterday in active trading. The N.Z.U.C. index rose 1.58 points to 299.06, and rises outnumbered falls by almost six to one. Frequently traded issues were prominent in the rises, including N.Z. Forest up 3c. N.Z. Light Leathers regained 2c, and Radio Avon rose 3c to 125 c. Motor vehicle dealers were easier with Schofield down 2c and Manthel down a similar amount ex dividend.
