Aust, market remains weak
The Australian market closed almost steady with traded industrial and mining leaders lower, and the 2.3 per cent rise in the December quarter Consumer Price] Index figures (9.3 per cent for the year) apparently well, anticipated. BHP was unchanged at, !536c with ACI up 2c to 170 c [ and the Bank of New South |Wales steady at 524 c. ■ Suga s were mixed with. 'Pioneer up 3c to 125 c.
