Quet Etoile, improving with each start, is expected to return to winning form in the Ruato Handicap, first leg of the T.A.B. double, at Wanganui today. At his last attempt, Quet Etoile was a strong-finishing second to the promising Amazing Grace on I this course and over today’s dis-) lance. His form before that was: sound and victory today would I be well deserved. Sterling Gold has - been con-1 sistently placed this season and J she should provide most opposition to Quet Etoile along with Gatcombe and last-start winner Copper Kane. If the winner is to come from outside this bracket, it could be Boulight. The All A’light II mare has been freshened since running a close third in high-weight company at Egmont last month and ■ should run a bold race. The second leg, the Deeley Memorial, gives Nicklebe a great chance of breaking through for a deserved win.
