West Coast quinellas
The second day of the Grey- j mouth Jockey Club’s meeting on Monday will become the first in New Zealand on which the T.A.B. will run two quinellas. However, while bettors in other parts of New Zealand will be able to wager on the quinellas. only on-course punters will have quinella betting on the Coast. T.A.B.s on the West Coast do not yet have this form of betting because it is restricted to computerised offices. Coincidentally, with the T.A.B. quinella innovation starting with the Omoto meeting, the course will also be the first West Coast galloping club to run on-eourse quinellas, introduced a month or so ago by the Greymouth Trotting Club.
