Lieutenant-Commander J. B Wood will be appointed executive officer of the ( anterbury division of the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve on December 31 < ommander Wood joined the ( anterburv Division in
i 1961. He was promoted sub-1 lieutenant in 1964. Lieuten-ant-Commander in 1974. and appointed honorary naval aide-de-camp to the Gover-'nor-General in October. Commander Wood is a 'company director, and is married, with four children.
