Shipbroker post in Shipping Corp.

The Shipping Corporation of New Zealand has appointed the first manager of i t s rapidly growing shipbroking and chartering department.

He is Mr P. J. Lawton, an Englishman, who for the last 15 years has been managing director of shipbroking firms in Auckland and Wellington. He is a member of the Baltic Mercantile and Shipping Exchange and is one of only a handful of qualified shipbrokers to immigrate to New Zealand.
