Orchestral series
Television One’s acting head of light entertainment, Ken Sudell, is working on a series of four programmes with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and two of the country’s leading singers, Anthony Benfell (tenor) and Lynne Cantion (soprano)“Make My Music" is the working title of the series, which will consist of four 45-minute programmes featuring classical pieces for the orchestra, and songs from shows such as “South Pacific,” “Kismet,” and "My Fair Lady.” The programmes will screen on Sunday nights early next year.
