Applicants must be qualified Medical Practitioners and hold a higher qualification in Psychiatry and be eligible for registration as a Specialist with the New Zealand Medical Council. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Board’s Medical Superintendent-in-Chief for the efficient management of this 1150 bed group of Psychiatric Hospitals. Commencing rate above the minimum of the Automatic Scale or within the additional steps will be determined by the Medical Officers Salaries Grading Committee.
