DUNEDIN CITY CORPORATION NEW CITY LIBRARY MAIN CONTRACTORS are invited to register their intention to tender for the construction of the above Building by paying a deposit of $lOO for the issue of the Contract Documents when they become available towards the end of November, 1977. The Contract comprises the Construction in situ reinforced concrete of a Library Building of approximately 9000 square metres in area contained in nine floors combined with a plaza and carpark structure of 3500 square metres in area on three levels. Lifts, Electrical and Mechanical services are included in the Main Contract. The site fronts Moray Place and is adjacent to the Town Hall on the eastern side. The Town Hall building has already been underpinned in preparation for the commencement of the main building contract The Contract is required to be completed in three years from the date of acceptance of Tender.
