Healing pays maiden div. in half-year
The directors of Healing I Industries, Ltd, are to pay a 1 maiden interim dividend of; 6c a share (6 per cent) after: unaudited group iet profit; rose 24 per cent to $239,630, in the six months to Septem-i ber 30. Sales for all companies oft the group are encouraging! and the contracting divisions! have a healthy carry-forward 1 of orders. “Export incentives of the! recently acquired Con-1 solidated Chemicals, Ltd,! have significantly contributed to the increased profit. “With the better selling months ahead for cycles, paints and allied lines, the company can look forward with confidence to maintaining an earning rate com-! parable with the previous! years,” they say. An annual dividend rate ofi 15c a share was paid in the, year to March 31. compared! with 12.5 c a share previously.
