Fish tested again

The Health Department has again taken samples of fish from Christchurch wholesalers to check on mercury levels.

The samples have ben sent to the D.S.I.R. for analysis, and results are expected this week, according to the supervising health inspector (Mr C. H. Edwards). Fish must contain less than 0.5 parts per million of the element mercury to comply with health requirements under the Food and Drug Regulations.
