The trialists for the senioi A Canterbury women’s softball team are:—
R. Storer, M. Lee, P. King, R. Hapi, S. Carroll (Bumside), W. Martin, A. Wans* borough, M. Machirus, P, Mac Lean, G. Gray (Monowai). P. Wyatt, S. Constable, L Watts, D. Goosman (Albion), C. Timms (Western Suburbs), B. Clark (United), C. Clothiei (Aorangi), D. Epere (Wigram), The trials will be held al the Polo grounds next Sunday morning and Monday evening.
Rugby.—A Malaysian team and a team of New Zealand servicemen based In Singapore played to a 3-3 draw In overtime and were declared joint champions of a 10-a-slde rugby tournament at Kuala Lumpur, the Aiscclated Press reported.
