A long time...
The longest measure of time known by man is the “kalpa” in Hindu chronology. It is equivalent to 4320 million years and is far longer than the cosmic year used in modern astronomy. A cosmic year is the period of rotation of the sun around the centre of the Milky Way galaxy. That journey takes about 225 million years.
