After an indlttereut u > the early batsmen, Steve Holden, batting attractively for 8-4’ helped Waltham to a respectable* 2ii against Harewood in the Christchurch Suburban Cricket Association s senior competition on Saturday. Holden. aided by Tim Loughlin (37) and an unbeaten 30 by Paul Woolhouse, halted the early domination of the Harewood bowlers, but Harrv Simons still finished with the good figures of four for 35. At stumps Harewood in reply haa reached 39 but had lost two wickets.
