The return of the former New Zealand representative, John Fairweather, to competition was a feature of the fourth round of the A grade men’s basketball summer league in Cowles StaaiU Fairweather, who withdrew from all basketball earlier this vear. scored 36 points for Y.M.C.A.-Litchfield in its overwhelming 102-45 win over Bumside Another surprise inclusion in the Y.M.C.A.-Litchfield team was the Canterbury player-coach.
