Richard O’Sullivan, the out-to-make-good this time Robin Tripp in “Robin’s I Nest,” seems to have been in all the good British comedies of recent years — from the "Doctor” series to "Man About The House.” Richard was born in Chiswick Of Irish parents. He attended the Corona Theatrical school and at a very tender age was appearing in such films as “It’s Great To Be Young” with John Mills. He played the part of Little Lord Fauntleroy and in the television production of “Great Expectations” and spent most of his time sitting as he had broken both legs during filming. He also appeared in the film of “Cleopatra" with Elizabeth Taylor. Richard Burton and Rex Harrison. On television Richard has

appeared in numerous drama pro ductions including “Thirty Minute Theatre” and “Play Of The Month” but his real forte is comedy. Series have included “Doctor At Large,” and the fol-low-on “Doctor In Charge” — in both he played the part of Lawrence Bingham. He also played the part of Richard in the series and the film version of "Father Dear Father.”

He is probably best-known as Robin in the very successful series “Man About The House” which also became a feature film. In 1974 he took time off from television to play the title role in “The Government Inspector” for Oxford Playhouse. His hobbies include watching soccer, particulatly Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers, and when he can, playing for the “Showbiz 111,” and fitting in a round lor two of golf. He both Com-.
