Candidate in new post
Mr H. A. Clark, the unsuccessful Labour Partycandidate for the Christchurch Mayoralty, has been appointed general manager of Trade and Industrial Exhibitions. Ltd, a Christ-church-based exhibitions company.
Mr Clark gave up his post as co-ordinator of Christ-, church Community Volunters for full - time' campaigning and spent some time after the elections looking for another job. His new post will involve: him in the administration and research areas of the company’s business, which includes exhibition organisation, export exhibition promotion, and publishing.
