Infections
Two cases of infectious hepatitis were among the four cases of suspected notifiable diseases reported to the Health Department for the week ending October 15.
One case each of leptospirosis and bacillary dysentery were also reported. A total of 51 new cases of venerea! disease were seen at the Christchurch Veneral Disease Clinic during September.
