Sir, — The latest approved amendments to sell or give contraceptives to children under 16 will have the following horrifying consequences: the legal age of sexual consent will soon no longer apply; then, as overseas, the demand to legalise sexual consent between adults and children will follow; and the Education Department, already bent on brainwashing children with films advocating sexual and
homosexual activities disguised as human development programmes costing taxpayers nearly $500,000 this year, will also become the No. 1 agents for pushing contraceptive drugs amongst State school children and by those without medical qualifications. It appears that some members of Parliament do not know what they are doing. Another bill is rushed through which will benefit the drug companies and undermine the nation further with already-increas-ing perverted activities. — Yours, etc., E. J. THOMAS, October 16, 1977.
