New guest speaker
Dr Hugh Burry, a former Canterbury and AH Black No. 8 forward and now a prominent figure in the sports medicine field, wiU be the guest speaker at the Canterbury Rugby Supporters’ Club’s annual dinner next Wednesday. Dr Burry, now a resident of Wellington, agreed to address the gathering when it was discovered that the original guest speaker, Mr Tom Johnson, a New Zealand rugby councillor, would be unable to return from an overseas trip In time.
