New seats al park
A final $15,000 will be needed to buy steel brackets for wooden seating at Queen Elizabeth II Park, to replace the remaining plastic seats in the concrete stands. Because plastic seating installed for the 1974 Commonwealth Games proved too delicate for long-teim use. the City Council has been steadily replacing it. A final 3000 steel brackets are needed to finish the job. C. and R. Eauipment, Ltd. supplies the brackets.
