IppJ GROUP PACKAGING ISdfid CO-ORDINATOR THIS IS A NEW POSITION being established by a major international chemical manufacturing and marketing organisation. The position is based in Wellington. THE POSITION: To co-ordinate the design, development, production and supply of a wide variety of containers in all materials appropriate to the company’s products. A high proportion of work with liquids and emulsions. In liaison with marketing, distribution and vendors to develop and control the packaging function in terms of maximising effects em-ss and economic usage including unit loading in containers/pallets and the development of dispensing equipment. THE PERSON: This is a senior position calling for an imaginative and energetic approach. Age range is flexible but 25-35 preferred, with an established background in packaging design and production. The appointee will have a sound knowledge of the full range of materials — plastics, metal, etc. — and in particular of their chemical properties.
