TELLING GHOST STORIES

Winter is a good time for sitting around the fire and telling ghost stories. Make-up one of your own in not more than 400 words. Address your entries to: Tikumu, “The Press.” P.O. Box 1005, Christchurch. The closing date is August 31: Rules: Write your name, age, and address on the first page in the top right-band comer. Ask an adult to sign your entry stating that it is your own work.

Prizes: Gift tokens of $lO will be awarded to the best entries and $5 to the second and third best entries in these two age groups: Nine years and under; 10 years and over.
