Court actress in new comedy
The <. hristchurch actress. Elizabeth Moody, has begun work in her first important television role — playing one of a group of unlikely, untrained office cleaners in South Pacific Television's new comedy series, “Fullers Earth." Elizabeth Moody is well known for her parts in Court Theatre productions. In the TV series she plays Mrs Stubbins, a dignified lady, prone to inalapropisms. She has seen better days, and makes no secret of it — she also has a
partiality tor gin. Mrs Stubbins has inadvertantly lost a couple of husbands, and their departures remain a mystery. The actress has taken three months leave of absence from the Court during production of the comedy series, which consists of six 30-minute segments. Production is already into the second episode. The permanent core of the series Is Terence Cooper, Jennie Ludlum Myra de Groot. Patrick Hott. and Elizabeth Moody.
