Novak piays a young actress who is cast as a legendary star of the thirties. The tragic history of Lylah Clare is repeated when Finch, her husband. falls for her reincarnation. M.G.M. 12.20: NEWS. WEATHER.
9.10: THE BLUE KNIGHT. The final in the series about the big dedicated cop. Bumper Morgan has his doubts about a "perfect citizen” who is only too keen to help the police. 10.00: LATE EDITION. News 10.10: ALLERGY. A couple leave their respective spouses to stay together in a cottage in the Scottish Highlands. But one of them develops an ugly rash — an allergy to adultery, it seems. Gordon Jackson stars in this drama from the “Confession” series. 11.05: KALEIDOSCOPE. “K.M. and L.M.: The Claim of Friendship.” A documentary that concentrates on Katherine Mansfield’s friendship with Lesley Moore. The narrator is New Zealand-born actress, Bridget Armstrong. BBC.
