AAR up after bid by CSR
Attention was focused on the offer by CSR for coal stock AAR which rose 39c on the Australian stockmarket yesterday. The sAust4lM bid of 175 c la AAR share was rejected by directors of the company as too low. CSR fell 17 .cents to 293 c. The Federal Government’s . freeze on acquisition moves by CRA and Shell put a 'damper on most other coals) ; stocks. Austen and Butta fell 15c to 275 c.
