Korean trawlers for N.Z.
PA Dunedin A Dunedin businessman, Mr C. G. Skeggs. has returned from a visit to Korea and Japan with a bill for I two big new trawlers and the first order for the fish they have yet to catch. Mr Skeggs said that he had signed a contract in Korea for the construction of two 31m sternramp trawlers, worth nearly S2M. They will take just four 'months and a half to build. I Launching is set for Dec-! | ember, and delivery in Febjruary. Each trawler will have a crew of six, including the skipper. The two trawlers will work round the South Island, landing their catch at either Port Chalmers, Bluff, or Nei- | son.
