Clyde profit rises 67 p.c.
The group net profit of Clyde Engineering, Ltd, rose 67.5 per cent to $519,994 in the year to March 31, the directors say in a preliminary report. The profit was after providing for an extraordinary loss of $12,317. Total outside sales of the group increased 20.3 per cent to a record S2OM. The profit was after providing $128,440 more for tax at $444,316. A recommended final dividend of 7c a share makes a steady annual rate of 12c a share (12 per cent). It is payable on September 20, exdividend September 2.
