Telling ghost stories
Winter is a good time for sitting around the fire and telling ghost stories. Make up one of your own in not more than 400 words. Addressing your entries to: — Tikumu, “The Press,” P.O. Box IMS, Christchurch. The closing date is August 31. Rules. — Write your name, age, and address on the first page in the top right-hand comer. Ask an adult to sign your entry stating that it is your own work. Prizes. — Gift tokens of $lO will be awarded to the best entries and $5 to the second best entries in these three age groups:— Seven years and under; eight years to 10 years; 11 years and over.
A selection of winning entries will be printed on the children’s page.
