Classic Fashions profit up 64 p.c.
The unaudited group net profit of Classic Fashions,; Ltd, rose 64.2 per cent to' $164,194 in the stx months to I May 31. 1 i
$18,761 for the 50 per cent equity interest held in Synthetic Dye Work (N.Z.), Ltd. for which no amount was included last year, the directors say. All units of the group traded profitably, they say. A steady interim dividend of 3c a share (6 per cent) has been declared payable on August 26, ex dividend August 17.
The directors say that wit! the expiry of the divident regulations on August 14 shares under the approver two-for-six bonus issue wilbe altered on August 24, and the dividend paid on the new shareholding. If the regulations are continued the dividend will be paid on August 26 on the present shareholding.
