Statement qualified

PA Auckland A statement by the prini cipal of the Auckland TechI nical Institute (Mr I. M. ! Moses), circulated by the j NZPA on Monday, June 20, I was misinterpreted by the i reporter who supplied the I item. ! Mr Moses was quoted as j saying that most secondary’ school classes were completely out of control. In an address to the Soroptimists’ Club, Mr Moses said that what he had actually said was: I do raise the question as to whether the vast majority of classes which are completely out of control — and these exist in many of our secondary schools — do not represent money from the education budget that goes straight down the drain.
