The applicant will be required to assist with the operation of a Calcination Plant on continuous shift basis. Applicants should have oil firing equipment and associated instruction in the chemical, refinery or mineral processing industry. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR THE POSITION: The Construction Supervisor is responsible to the building maintenance Engineer for all civil construction works within the corporation, together with the operation of a batching plant for total island concrete supplies. Duties cover the supervision of preparation and curing of all concrete works, concrete block manufacture, brick and block construction works together with scheduling concrete, sand and crushed aggregate supplies. Also responsible for the maintenance of fire brick lined drying and calcination equipment. He will be responsible for up to 40 men including tradesmen carpenters and concretors, drivers, skilled and unskilled workers. THE MAN; . Applicants should have a recognised trade qualification with a sound background and a minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in concrete construction works.
