Woolston leads soccer

Woolston W.M.C. retained its two-point lead at the top of the Broadlands Southern League soccer table when it beat Invercargill Thistle, 2-1, on Saturday. Woolston met stubborn resistance from the Invercargill team. Woolston’s goals were scored by Rikki Koster and, almost inevitably. Stan McGaflin, who added to his impressive tally this season.
