AMENDMENTS TO THE COUNCIL’S BUILDING BY-LAWS: The Special Order amends the Council’s Building Bylaws by updating various Chapters of the N.Z.S.S. 1900 and related documents issued by the Standards Association of New Zealand. 2. DEDICATION OF A SER VICE LANE BETWEEN MORTLAKE STREET AND WILSON STREET. ISLINGTON: The Council pursuant to Section 192 of the Counties Act. 1956. resolved thal land described as R.S. 40795. containing an area of 404 sq. m., be dedicated as a service lane. 3. ADOPTION OF HIGH PRESSURE WATER SUPPLY CHARGES—BY-LAW No. 115. 1977: This By-law amends previous By-laws for the supply of high pressure water i but excluding the Tai Tapu High Pressure Water Supply Area), by substituting the following schedule of charges:— (1) House, shop or commercial premises connected to unmetered supply. $2O. (2) Houses, shops or commercial premises or vacant residential sections—not connected, $lO. (3) Industrial premises—(connected for Indusdustrial or Domestic Water Supply): (a) $1.73 per thousand of Capital Value of property. (b) 8.62 cents per thousand gallons of water used up to the amount of Item (a). (c) 17.24 cents per thousand gallons beyond this figure. (4) Industrial premises or Industrial land (not connected): (a) $1.73 per thousand of Capital Value of property. Charge entitles industry to sprinkler system connection for Fire Protection pur-

poses. (5) Houses with adjoining racing stables or commercial fowlhouses, butchers shops, fish shops and other premises with unmetered supply of water— Charges as per Item (3i Industrial premises.
