Ten die in storms
NZPA New York Thunderstorms roamed the south and Atlantic seaboard yesterday, leaving at least 10 people dead. Coast Guard men are continuing to search Chesapeake Bay for nine people still missing after the capsizing of a fishing boat in a fierce storm. At least four people drowned when the fishing boat Dixie Lee overturned in high seas and gale force winds from a squall. Fourteen passengers were pulled to safety and rescue workers searched with helicopters and ships for the missing. The National Weather Service said that tornadoes and severe thunderstorms swept the south-east Kentucky counted three storm-rela’« deaths, Georgia two, an Tennessee one.
