SHOE STYLE
I
High-fashion designs, expert manufacturing and the highest quality kid
and skin are essential ingredients for the David Elman success story. Below, from left, four examples in soft kid, and snakeskin, with the latest styles
— the slightly pointed toe, and the slim heel, both high (on the inside pair) and lower (on the outside). (All from the David Elman Shop).
A new concept in design of leatherwear is exhibited in these two garments from the new McPhail and Fisher range. Hers, at left, is a full-length, suede coat, with a tie-belt and slightly elasticised waist for a snug fit, and his is a three-quarter length leather jacket, also with a tie belt. The wool trim is at both the sleeve and the neck. It can either be buttoned up and doubled over to make a warm poloneck or left open for an ordinary lapel finish. (Both by McPhail and Fisher).
