Bob Cameron has two good drives in T.A.B. treble

The Ashburton trainer-driver. Bob Cameron, has in the last month or two enjoyed one of his greatest runs of success for some time. Tomorrow at Addington Raceway he will drive Timely Score in the Canterbury Park Juvenile Fixing Stakes, and Belmer’s Image in the Stan Andrews Stakes, the first two legs of the T.A.B. treble.
Timely Score will be trying for his fourth success. His most recent win was on May 11 when he outclassed what appeared beforehand to be a fairly strong field in the Sires’ Produce Stakes Final, recording 2min 36.35ec for the 2000 m, less than a second outside Noodlum’s New Zealand record.
Timely Score and Glide Time, considered to be one of his main rivals, have both drawn the second line in this mile race. With reasonable luck Timely Score should come out on top again.
Lord Module and Glide Time could be the hardest for the probable favourite to
beat, but bold runs are expected from Main Star, Beaufort, Motu Prince and Ruling Play, all of which, look capable of a merry mile.
The Stan Andrews Stakes, also over one mile, looks likely to develop into a match race between Belmer’s Image and Ruling Lobell. Belmer’s Image has Imin 59.75ec to his credit over the distance and from No. 3 at the barrier he will no doubt try for another all-the-way win to give him his fourth successive win and his
eleventh for the season. He has finished in front of Ruling Lobell on most occasions when they have met.
However, over this distance, the filly could run him close if she is able to secure a reasonable cover until the straight entrance. She looks well capable of breaking the two-minute barrier and could fully extend Belmer’s Image. Sapling, Scottish Heath and Copper Hanover will be others strongly supported on the place totalisator. The D.C. Parker Stakes, the final leg of the treble, is an extremely open race. Frisco Frost Lady Pacify and First Count form a likely trio, but Quick Hanover. Tommy and Smart Doll have all raced well enough at times to be considered sound prospects. Selections:— 6.5 p.m. — Nigel Craig Handicap: Pointer Hanover Isa Rang!, Copper Tone. 6.35 p.m. — May Stakes: Kvlna, Lagacy, Port View. 7.5 p.m. — Ham Stakes: ButFirst Encounter, Drifted In. 7.35 p.m. — Conference Handicap: Even Speed, Cool Cat, Power Cut. 8.5 p.m. — Juvenile Flying Stakes: Timely Score, Lord Module, Glide Time. 8.40 p.m. — Canterbury Park Winter Cup: Bronze Queen, Rocky Tryax, Ruling River. 9.15 p.m. — Stan Andrews Stakes: Belmer’s Image, Ruling Lobell, Sapling. 9.55 p.m. — Russley Hotel Stakes: Brome Trail Miss Pert, Karen's Pride. 10.30 p.m. — D.
