PA Wellington The National member of Parliament for New Plymouth (Mr A. P. D. Friedlander), opened the Address-in-Reply debate for the Government when Parliament sat at 7.30 p.m. yesterday.
Mr Friedlander moved that members send an address to the GovernorGeneral (Sir Denis Blundell), in reply to his Speech from the Throne last Thursday. The motion was seconded by Mr W. R. Austin (Nat., Awarua).
The House adjourned at 8.55 p.m. on the motion of the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon).
Parliament will resume at 2.30 p.m. today.
