Crash inquiry adjourned
PA Auckland The Newmarket rail crash inquiry has been adjourned until tomorrow, when the various counsel involved and the board will sum up the evidence. A total of 33 witnesses have given evidence during six days of hearings. After summing up, the board inquiry will report its findings to the Minister of Railways (Mr McLaughlan). Any disciplinary action arising from the report will rest with the General Manager of Railways (Mr T. Hayward).
