SALARY PAYABLE depending on qualifications and experience. DUTIES: Required to undertake the electronic and instrumentation development work of the Physiology Section. The duties involve maintaining a technical data library in the field of electronics and scientific instruments. The general physiological work requires familiarity with standard servo systems, electronic power amplifiers, small signal amplifiers for such purposes as electro-cardiography, etc. The behavioural science studies are based on Digital equipment and the applicant should be familiar with electronic logic circuitry. Facilities are available for the production of printed circuitry and the applicant must be able to construct electronic equipment based on this technique. QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant should preferably have a Bachelors Degree in Physics with emphasis on applied electronics. It is also desirable that the degree or qualification contains some background of biology and/or physiology.
